This February, Ferrocarrils begins the urban planning and environmental processing for the installation of a new Vallter gondola, the main element of the change in the station model and the renaturalization project of the Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser Natural Park. The new infrastructure, which will be the only entrance to the station, will replace the current road access, which will eliminate the 85,000 vehicles that go up to Vallter every year via the Setcases road. Vallter celebrates the central event of its 50th anniversary that kicks off different commemorative activities.
