Chairlift Trip - Visit the Ter River source

The Jordi Pujol Planella 4-seater Ter Panoramic Chairlift, also open during the summer, allows you to get closer to the source of the river Ter, approximately 100m walk from the finish.

The ascent with the Ter Panoramic Chairlift, lasting about 20 minutes, allows you to contemplate a unique panorama, such as the alpine landscape and it is very easy to see all kinds of native fauna: chamois, marmots, badgers ...

The views from the Cafeteria "Les Marmotes" (altitude: 2,535 m) to the arrival of the chairlift are exceptional. You can enjoy the panoramic point 'Mirador-Balcó de la Costa Brava', a viewpoint with incredible views of the territory from Ripollès, to La Garrotxa, Pla de l'Estany and Empordà. This summer 2024, however, the Cafeteria "Les Marmotes" and the "Mirador-Balcó de la Costa Brava" will be closed for construction. 

This point is the beginning of different descent routes to the Ull de Ter refuge, either down the routes to the base of the station or with excursions to the peaks that surround Vallter, such as Bastiments and Grà de Fajol, passing through the Coll de la Marrana.
